Assignment & Class Info
Grade 11s and 12s, I am sad to lose my class time with all of you. For the most part, we had a good thing going and our current situation disrupts that. Ultimately, the health and safety of everyone (in and outside of our class) is much more important. So here we are. Truthfully, our course probably never needed to be conducted as an everyday class. Really you just have a few key things to work on, and you could probably use some occasional collaboration time with each other and some one-on-one conferencing with me. In a way, that is what we are left with now.
I encourage you to communicate with me regularly, especially about any challenges you are having with this course. It is a change for all of us, and we can assess our situation and make changes as needed. Keep this in mind, because this same idea comes up in your assignment!
For now, we will focus on the Capstone Project. You may have a few additional small assignments along the way, but this will be the bulk of your course work for this class. Make sure to check out the "Questions & Discussion" page. It is a place where you can ask questions, make comments, and discuss the assignments with each other and with me. You may email me directly, but many people will likely have the same or similar questions so it is helpful to post them for the group.
Below you will find the Capstone Project information. You will notice that the final information regarding the project is not yet included. That will follow shortly. In fact, it might be nice to discuss that together. I will email you information for an online classroom session. This will give us a chance to check-in with each other, discuss the project, and give me some feedback for how you think this project would best be assessed.
